Robert Ryan Artist

Robert Ryan graduated from Limerick School of Art & Design in 1987.  He worked in London and Copenhagen before returned to Ireland in 1994.  Robert now lives in historic Lough Gur,  where he grew up; a unique environment that is a constant source of inspiration for his evocative images.  His work is represented by the Hallward Gallery, Dublin and the John Martin Gallery, London.

Robert, like so many locals, wanted to give something back to the community which inspires him so much and therefore runs art classes from the Honeyfitz Theatre on Monday and Wednesday mornings from September to May. 

Bobbys 2012 classes recommence on Wednesday January 25th from 10am - 12 noon. His gentle and practical advice ensures that all students receive almost individual attention and guidance and he ensures that classes are kept small and intimate to better the learning environment of all students.

Facilitated by Artist, Bobby who will instruct and guide participants on any form of art they chose. For beginners, water colours are the easiest and least complicated as the set up time is minimal and for more experienced, Oil painting is very enjoyable

Beginners classes:

Mondays

Max 15 per class to allow individual attention. Very social and a great way to meet new people. Ten week classes.

Cost €130 covers tutorials.

Experienced artists: Wednesdays recommencing Wednesday January 25th 2012 in the Honeyfitz Theatre. Ten week classes.
