2012 Art classes with Bobby Ryan

Following on from the hugely successful 10 week course held in 2011, Bobby will again instruct on Art for beginners. This time, the canvas is blank!! You can chose your own Art, whether it's oils or Water colurs, Bobby will be happy to guide you and explore your potential!

 

Classs will start in January 2012 on Monday mornings....contact Bobby Ryan for more details. Cost for the 10 classes is €130 payable to Bobby. This covers all tution for the ten weeks. Bobby will assist you in deciding on additional materials you will require ie paints and brushes, depending on the type of Art you chose. Wednesdays Art classes for the more experienced will recommence for 2012 classes on  Wednesday January 25th 10am - 12 noon. Contact Bobby if you are interested in joining his Wednesday class.

Adult education courses for 2012 in conjunction with Limerick VEC

Are you or anyone you know, interested in obtaining additional training or upskilling as a result of recently becoming unemployed or interested in rejoining the employment market? Lough Gur Development in conjunction with Limerick adult resource learning  would like to offer a range of courses depending on needs to people living locally. The courses can be adapted to suit an individual group and can be run mornings or evenings, courses can vary in length from one morning or evening per week over 4 weeks or longer, depending on course, again depending on needs of participants.

Active Retired classes for 2012

Chi Gung Chi Gung

 

Based in the Honeyfitz Theatre, the Lough Gur active retired meet once a week, on a Tuesday morning at 11am in the honeyfitz Theatre. Events centre on chair yoga and more recently Chi Gung with Nadine Buttery Tai Chi, Chi Gung and Mediation teacher. More importantly, the active retired group have an opportunity to meet new and old friends and socialise over tea or coffee.

 

Qigong or Chi Gung (pronounced "chee-gong") is a practice of aligning breath, movement, and awareness for exercise, healing, and meditation. With roots in Chinese, medicine and philosophy Chi Gung is traditionally viewed as a practice to balance life energy.

It’s very enjoyable and relaxing and open to all.

Tuesday mornings in the Honeyfitz Theatre, Lough Gur 11am – 12 noon

Cost €5 per session.
