At the heart of the Lough Gur lakeshore experience you’ll find our welcoming Woodland Coffee kiosk, where visitors can relax with a freshly brewed barista‑style coffee after exploring this beautiful heritage park and Visitor Centre. We’re proud to serve coffee made with ethically sourced beans from Watermark Coffee’s Woodland range, a sustainably focused choice that reflects our commitment to caring for the environment and the communities behind every cup. The Solstice Park
Nestled just above Lough Gur and the Visitor Centre, the children’s play park is a safe, vibrant space where young visitors can let their imaginations run wild and enjoy the great outdoors. The park features a variety of nature-inspired play equipment, including swings, slides, climbing frames, and open spaces perfect for running and exploring. Designed to spark creativity and adventure, it’s an ideal destination for families seeking fun and fresh air. Getting Here
Lough Gur is located in County Limerick, just 30 minutes from Limerick City and approximately 1 hour from Shannon Airport. It makes a scenic stop on driving routes through Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands and Munster Vales. Free parking is available on-site for cars and coaches, with clear signage guiding you to the Visitor Centre.
